Privacy & Terms,
in plain language.
Legal pages are usually written to be skimmed. These are written to be read. (This is a demo build; the policies below model how the production platform would operate.)
What we know,
and why.
What we collect
To make you a member we need an email address and a name you choose. That is the whole list. We do not ask for your birthday, your phone, or your shoe size, because we do not need them — data minimisation is a rule here, not a slogan.
Consent, honestly obtained
Analytics run only if you choose “Accept analytics” in the privacy notice — the gallery works identically either way, and “Essential only” is always the same size button. We never pre-tick a box on your behalf.
Your rights, in one click
From your account dashboard you can export everything we hold about you as a single readable file, and delete your account entirely. No email chains, no retention tricks, no “are you sure” carousel. Gone means gone.
How it’s protected
All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS, with HSTS). Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text — in this demo they are not stored at all. Were a breach ever to occur, affected members would be notified within 72 hours, as the GDPR requires and decency demands.
The house,
and its rules.
Membership
Membership is free and personal to you. We may suspend accounts that break the community’s house rules — consistently enforced, with warnings before consequences, as described on the Community page.
The artworks
Every artwork belongs to the artist who made it — full stop. Posting here transfers nothing to us. Share links anywhere; do not reproduce images commercially or repost without credit. Supporter-only files are for supporters: sharing them out is theft from a working artist and grounds for removal.
Pledges & payments
Tiers are monthly and cancel in one click, effective immediately. Artists receive 92% of every pledge, paid on the 1st of each month with no minimum and no payout fee. Refunds within 14 days are automatic — and come out of our share, not the artist’s.
The community
What you post remains yours; you grant us only the licence needed to display it to other members. We remove content that breaks the rules and we never sell member content or data to anyone, for any price.
